ClearNode 1.11 for iOS – Dark Mode Support

This release implements support for iOS 13’s new Dark Mode. To align the interface with the Dark Mode requirements, we had to make a handful of changes that also affect regular or Light Mode. The main changes you’ll notice is the menu icons in the top bar of the app. Hopefully the changes will be self-evident.

ClearNode 1.9.4 for Android released

We had a collection of complaints from Android users with particular LG and HTC devices. Seems these manufacturers skin their versions of Android with some bizarre keyboard behaviors. After acquiring a test example, we think we’ve worked our way around the issues.

This update is recommended for ALL Android users – and, as ever, let us know if you encounter problems.

ClearNode 1.9.3 for Android released

This brings the Android companion application up to the same level as Apple iOS and the RedNode API on the node devices. Audio analysis and USB Audio configurations are now supported.

This DOES NOT include the fix for the missing fields on some Android devices running Android Oreo. Hang in there – that will hopefully be later this week.

ALERT: Android – Node Setup Bug

The current release of the Android ClearNode App (Ver 1.8.2) is failing when it executes the new node setup functionality on RedNode software versions RNH 1.5.2 and below.

Easy fix – before you exercise the setup routine in the Android mobile app – update your RedNode version to 1.5.2. In the mobile app, in the Node Detail screen, in the Versions section, tap on “RedNode Version” and confirm the update. Your node will update and reboot. Confirm that you are now on version 1.5.2 – then you should be good to go.
